Bridgnorth Aluminium has developed long-term partnerships with major battery foil rolling customers. We work together to develop and supply high quality foil which meets the requirement for low levels of porosity whilst maintaining the correct strength characteristics. Our dedicated foil stock cold rolling, annealing and finishing assets are designed to provide the levels of cleanliness, flatness and overall product quality required by the market.
Aluminium foil acts as a cathode collector within the battery. Aluminium is also used to make battery pouches, cases and electrical connectors between the battery cells. Batteries are becoming the long-term solution to CO2 free transportation and will enable the efficient use of wind and solar energy.
