Production Operator – FTC

Job Description

FIXED TERM CONTRACT – 12 months

2 Vacancies available. Please see below for availabile shifts:

1 x 4 on / 4 off (2 Days / 2 Nights – 12 hour shifts. 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am)

1 x Mon – Fri 16/5 (6am-2pm first week, 2pm-10pm following week. 8 hour shifts)

Responsibilities

Assist experienced operators in operating rolling mills and related machinery.

Monitor production processes according to production schedules and customer specifications and report any deviations or issues.

Conduct regular quality checks on finished products to maintain high quality standards.

Participate in routine inspections and basic maintenance tasks to ensure equipment functionality.

Collaborate with the team to achieve production targets and maintain product quality.

Adhering to strict safety protocols and maintaining a clean work area.

Requirements

Prior experience in manufacturing or a similar industrial setting is preferred but not mandatory. We encourage enthusiastic and motivated individuals to apply.

Basic understanding of machinery and manufacturing processes is advantageous.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.

Enthusiastic approach to learning new skills and growing within the company.

Understanding safety procedures and willingness to comply with all safety guidelines.
